Pastor Alex Groth

SERVING BEAUTIFUL SAVIOR SINCE 2011

Pastor Alex Groth graduated from Martin Luther College in 2007. After spending a year as a pastoral intern in Madison, Wisconsin, he graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 2011. He and his wife Carrie (teacher and staff minister) have loved serving at Beautiful Savior for the last 15 years. In the fall of 2025 Pastor Groth and Carrie were able to adopt two boys, DJ and Liam, having served as their foster parents for several years. This remains one of the greatest joys of their lives. In his free time, Pastor Groth enjoys playing sports, running, reading, and exploring all of Cincinnati with his family. 

Pastor Jacob Ungemach

SERVING BEAUTIFUL SAVIOR SINCE 2024

Pastor Jacob Ungemach (UHN-geh-mock) and his wife Grace have lived in the Oakley neighborhood of Cincinnati since summer 2024. Before moving to Cincinnati, Jacob studied at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary to complete his training to be a pastor. During that training, he spent a year as an intern (vicar) in Asheville, North Carolina. In his free time, he enjoys running, frequenting local breweries & coffee shops, and chipping away at house projects. 

Vicar Noah Cook

SERVING FOR ONE YEAR AS A PASTORAL INTERN

As a vicar (intern pastor), Noah Cook is honored to learn how to serve others with God's Word from the pastors on staff. He and his wife, Hannah, arrived in Cincinnati in August, and they love getting to know the community, meet its people, and explore its places. Noah grew up in Wisconsin and graduated from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN. Since then, Noah has been a student at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI, where he is studying to be a pastor. Noah and Hannah enjoy outdoor activities (hiking, biking, and more), eating ice cream, and making memories with others.
